Senior Manager - Accounting Advisory

About the role

CFGI is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Accounting Advisory practice. You will work directly with C‑level executives of Fortune 500, mid‑cap and start‑up companies, guiding them through complex accounting and reporting challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with client executive teams and Big 4 auditors as a subject‑matter expert on accounting issues.
• Lead operational due‑diligence engagements for IPOs, acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings and debt raises.
• Prepare and review SEC filings (10K, 10Q, S‑1, S‑4) and coordinate audit processes.
• Provide guidance on new ASC accounting standards and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Mentor managers and consultants, fostering professional growth and delivering constructive feedback.
• Support firm‑wide recruiting, business development and client relationship building.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting (CPA and/or MBA acceptable) with 8+ years of public accounting or industry finance experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Proactive, highly organized, and able to set engagement expectations.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, ethical, dependable and high‑energy.
