Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Traditional ML & Financial Data)

About the role

FullStack is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in traditional ML and financial data. The role can be performed as team augmentation or as part of a product design and build team, working remotely for US‑based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and optimize machine learning models for production use.
• Perform data exploration, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training on complex, structured business datasets.
• Develop and fine‑tune anomaly detection algorithms to identify irregularities and outliers.
• Maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for ML applications.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, data science, or ML engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams and large, complex systems.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in traditional machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with Python and relevant ML/data‑science libraries.
• Experience with data exploration, feature engineering, and anomaly detection.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes for ML applications.
