About the role

Centerfield is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to be the first point of contact for internal users, providing frontline support for hardware, software and network issues.

Key responsibilities

Provide first‑level support for desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
Diagnose, repair and replace faulty hardware components such as RAM, HDD/SSD and power supplies.
Assist users with software, application and connectivity problems, including basic LAN/Wi‑Fi troubleshooting.
Log, track and resolve tickets in the helpdesk system and escalate complex issues when needed.

Required profile

Associate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (CompTIA A+ a plus).
Minimum 1 + year experience in technician or desk‑support role.
Strong client‑facing communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

Hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Software and application support.
Basic network connectivity troubleshooting (LAN/Wi‑Fi).
Experience with help‑desk software, databases and remote‑control tools.
