AI Automation Engineer (Remote - U.S.)

About the role

Join a healthcare technology company as a hands‑on AI‑native builder focused on accelerating internal teams. You will partner with operations, finance, clinical and other business units to identify bottlenecks and deliver AI‑driven automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze workflows and data processes across multiple departments to spot inefficiencies.
• Design, prototype and deploy AI‑assisted tools, APIs, SQL scripts, Python code and low‑code applications.
• Automate repetitive tasks, integrate disparate systems and create dashboards that improve visibility and decision‑making.
• Apply LLMs and AI agents where they add measurable productivity or accuracy gains.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in software engineering, automation, data engineering or technical operations.
• Strong analytical instincts with the ability to quickly understand business processes.
• Self‑starter who can identify problems, propose solutions and deliver without extensive specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
• Experience working with APIs and integration tools.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development platforms such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Ability to build lightweight internal applications, dashboards or workflow automations.

What we offer

• Fully remote work within the United States.
• Base salary $120,000–$150,000 per year.
