Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Satair, an Airbus Services company, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal and compliance guidance across its aviation operations. The role supports commercial transactions, corporate governance, and dispute management while ensuring adherence to applicable laws and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to draft, review and negotiate contracts for sales, asset acquisitions, leasing, and procurement of aviation products.
• Manage deal closings, CP documentation, and maintain contract templates for aircraft, airframe and engine transactions.
• Support trade compliance, KYS/KYC, export control, customs, antitrust and privacy matters, and deliver compliance training.
• Prepare board materials, minutes and coordinate corporate governance documentation.
• Provide strategic advice on pre‑litigation disputes, coordinate with litigation teams and manage external counsel.

Required profile

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to a US state bar in good standing.
• 7+ years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm handling complex transactions.
• Ability to translate complex legal analysis into practical business solutions.
• US work authorization without need for visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Meet, Drive).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools (preferred).
