Export & Trade Compliance Manager USM

About the role

The Export & Trade Compliance Manager provides operational and administrative support to the U.S. Export Compliance team, acting as the primary liaison between internal business functions and the Export Control team. This role ensures daily export activities align with EAR regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily Restricted Party Screening for suppliers and partners, document and archive results.
• Act as first line of defense for shipment holds, tracking missing export elements and supporting outbound flow.
• Review Electronic Export Information filings against invoices, resolve discrepancies, and support license applications via SNAP‑R.
• Maintain export control documentation, lead data migration, and manage onboarding and export control training for new hires.
• Coordinate multi‑entity compliance, assist internal controls assessments, and support corporate compliance initiatives across U.S. sites.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in export compliance, international logistics, or a related regulated‑industry role (aerospace/defense preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; licensed customs broker preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OCR or similar GTM software, ACE/AES, and SNAP‑R.
• High proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Sites, Drive).
• Experience using restricted‑party screening tools and managing EEI filings.
