Senior IT Professional I

About the role

The Senior IT Professional I will provide technical oversight for multiple complex SaaS applications within the Texas A&M University System Offices, ensuring compliance with technical standards and supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and monitor SaaS applications such as document management, workflow automation, and collaboration tools.
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with security policies.
• Support implementation, upgrades, and integration of SaaS solutions with ERP, identity management, and CRM systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, retention, and regulatory compliance for LERMS and related applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, change logs, and training materials for end‑users.
• Create and optimize reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of related technology experience.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM/ITIL) concepts and enterprise SaaS operations.
• Ability to pass a state and national fingerprint‑based background check for CJIS certification.

Required skills

• Experience administering enterprise SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM frameworks.
• Scripting or automation using PowerShell or Python.
• Understanding of records management, retention schedules, and compliance frameworks.
