Senior IT Asset Management Specialist

About the role

The Senior IT Asset Management Specialist will lead the full lifecycle of hardware, software, and cloud assets for CMT Services Inc., ensuring optimal utilization, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, deployment, maintenance, optimization, and retirement of IT assets including hardware, software, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and licensing.
• Maintain accurate asset inventories using CMDB, ServiceNow HAM/SAM, and discovery tools, ensuring data integrity.
• Manage software license compliance, true‑ups, audits and mitigate financial risks.
• Analyze utilization and cost trends to recommend optimization and strategic sourcing.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Security, and IT Operations on contracts, budgeting, TCO analysis, and vendor management.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting for SOX, GDPR, and other regulations.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize ITAM tools and automation such as ServiceNow HAM Pro, ServiceNow SAM Pro, Microsoft SCCM/Intune.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with major IT Asset Management platforms and discovery tools.
• Proven success managing large‑scale software licensing programs and vendor audits (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, SAP).
