Senior HR Business Partner – Midwest (Remote)

About the role

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader for its Mid‑North Zone. The role is remote, supporting an employee population of 860 across the Midwest, and involves both strategic planning and hands‑on HR partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Coach senior leaders, managers, and employees on talent, leadership, and organizational solutions.
• Ensure teams are optimally structured to meet current and future business needs.
• Drive large‑scale change management, talent management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
• Own core talent and HR programs, including performance management cycles, compensation planning, engagement surveys, and talent reviews.
• Analyze data, metrics, and trends to inform talent decisions and business strategy.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and management principles.
• Travel 10‑15% across the Midwest zone to support regional operations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level HR professional with proven experience in change management, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent coaching and advisory capabilities for senior leadership.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong relationships across multiple states.
• Willingness to travel 10‑15% within the Midwest region.
