Senior HPC Engineer, Services

About the role

Rescale is looking for a Senior HPC Engineer to join its Services team, helping customers leverage the Rescale platform for high‑performance computing workloads across industries such as aerospace, energy, life sciences, and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Become an expert in the Rescale platform and support customer workflows.
• Publish, manage and optimize complex HPC software for demanding customers.
• Develop and implement best‑practice processes for HPC services and support.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to drive customer success.
• Identify automation opportunities and build tools to increase productivity.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot software environments, and benchmark performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with HPC systems and applications.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders across IT, engineering, and R&D.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Required skills

• HPC schedulers, MPI, containers, Kubernetes, GPU computing.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Scientific computing libraries: OpenMP, CUDA.
