Senior Firmware Engineer

About the role

Reflex Robotics is seeking a senior firmware engineer to own embedded systems across its AI‑powered humanoid robots, from hardware bring‑up to firmware development, testing, and validation.

Key responsibilities

• Bring up new custom PCBs, validate processors, sensors, peripherals, and communication interfaces.
• Develop device drivers and firmware features for both new and existing hardware.
• Debug issues across firmware and electrical hardware, using JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Design and validate communication over Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and USB.
• Characterize, test, and validate firmware and board designs in collaboration with electrical, mechanical, controls, and software teams.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional firmware or device driver development experience.
• Strong embedded systems fundamentals and C programming skills.
• Experience with RTOS environments and hardware bring‑up, including reading schematics.
• BS or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
