Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst (Sr. Analyst) for its Internal Reporting organization, which supports the finance and leadership teams. The role reports directly to the Director of Internal Reporting and involves building and supporting the group's consolidated financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the close and consolidation of global financial statements using Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS)
• Oversee the preparation of the consolidated Cash Flow Statement and its forecast
• Perform financial statement analysis across reporting units
• Help run the Reporting Center of Excellence and oversee governance of the global Chart of Accounts
• Coordinate and communicate with accounting and finance management across the global organization
• Lead or take part in special projects and research, and respond to requests from management, departments and internal and external auditors
• Carry out ad-hoc duties and projects as needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Three or more years of public accounting experience
• Certified Public Accountant preferred
• Clear oral and written communication, strong organization and time management, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving ability and teamwork

The annual starting salary is between $100,000 and $115,000, depending on geography, market, skills, education and experience. The position may be with any affiliate of Avis Budget Group.
