Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

Continental Finance Company is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join its Finance & Accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Financial Reporting Manager, you will help maintain the financial reporting infrastructure and ensure GAAP‑compliant accounting for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analytics for all entities.
• Support mark‑to‑market and fair‑value accounting for securitization assets and complex journal entries.
• Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit documentation for quarterly and annual reviews.
• Maintain and review recurring monthly journal entries across multiple legal entities.
• Handle off‑balance‑sheet reporting, investor reporting deliverables, and board deck schedules.
• Perform expense allocations, accruals, depreciation, software capitalization, and general account reconciliations.
• Identify and implement process automation and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2‑4 years of public accounting experience (preferred).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in securitization or structured finance is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
