Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance team at Appcast, part of the StepStone Group. The role focuses on corporate financial planning, reporting, and business partnering, helping drive accountability and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine monthly financial forecasts and consolidate corporate forecasts.
• Lead headcount planning and workforce expense forecasting in partnership with the People Team.
• Conduct variance analysis, profitability, margin, and cost‑management assessments.
• Create and support the delivery of financial reporting packages, presentations, and dashboards.
• Partner with Accounting during month‑end close to ensure accurate reporting.
• Support the annual operating plan, budgeting, and long‑range planning processes.
• Review monthly financial reports, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.
