Senior Economist / Economic Advisor – Financial Economics

About the role

The Economic Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is hiring a Senior Economist or Economic Advisor to join its Finance team. The role focuses on financial economics research, policy analysis, and contributing to the Bank’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent research in financial economics and publish in leading academic journals.

Required profile

• Strong publication record in finance or economics journals.
• At least five years of experience in an academic or comparable research setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
