Senior Director, Regional Marketing, Americas

About the role

Checkout.com is looking for a leader for its Americas Regional Marketing function to oversee and scale marketing in the United States. The role reports to the Head of North America Revenue, with a dotted line to the Global CMO, and works closely with the broader Marketing team and local Commercial leaders. It manages a growing team and optimises ROI on a c. $8-10 million budget for 2026, directly managed in-market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver integrated go-to-market strategies for front-book and back-book execution, aligned with business goals
• Act as a trusted partner to the Head of North America Commercial, the CMO and other executives on regional marketing strategy
• Lead marketing strategy across the Americas, with a focus on ABM, field marketing, events and PR
• Work with Commercial, Partnerships, Revenue Operations and Marketing leaders to design and execute the regional plan
• Manage and grow a team of marketers, fostering a high-performance environment
• Allocate resources to maximise ROI and deliver high-impact programs
• Stay aligned with market dynamics and industry trends, and measure performance to adjust strategy

Required profile

• Over a decade in strategic B2B marketing, with a focus on ABM enterprise marketing and events management
• Extensive experience in payments, fintech or complex enterprise software is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of leadership and team management
• Proven cross-functional collaboration in matrixed or global environments
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making using martech tools
