Senior Director, Project Management – Health & Life Sciences (Remote)

About the role

Escalent is seeking a senior leader to head the Project Management function for its Global Health & Life Sciences practice. This remote, US‑based position oversees multiple project teams, ensuring client work is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the short‑ to mid‑term Project Management strategy across global teams.
• Provide operational direction for several project management teams led by managers or team leaders.
• Set department goals, objectives, operating expectations, and performance metrics.
• Ensure consistent delivery of client projects on schedule, budget, and quality benchmarks.
• Lead individual projects as needed and support commercial activities such as proposal cost estimating and contracting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and communicate progress to executive leadership.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading project‑management functions in a consulting or research environment.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business priorities into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills for complex, multi‑stakeholder problems.
• Excellent communication skills with executives and cross‑functional teams.
• Based in the United States and able to work remotely.
