About the role

Join Macy’s as the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing Strategy, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. You will be the CMO’s right‑hand, translating vision into actionable plans that align brand, media, creative, visual, and studio teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the principal strategic advisor to the CMO, shaping long‑term marketing roadmaps and operational priorities.
• Own annual and seasonal marketing planning processes, ensuring integrated timelines, frameworks, and leadership reviews.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment with Merchandising, Digital, Stores, and Finance, resolving dependencies and conflicts early.
• Facilitate executive decision‑making through structured problem‑solving, scenario planning, and high‑impact communications.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a matrixed, fast‑moving marketing environment.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to create structure from ambiguity.
• Strong influencing skills with a track record of driving alignment across senior leaders.
