Senior Director, Global Environmental Health & Safety

About the role

Moog is seeking a Senior Director to lead its Global Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) program. Based at the corporate headquarters in East Aurora, NY, you will shape enterprise‑wide strategies that protect employees, reduce environmental impact, and ensure compliance across all operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global EHS strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Drive continuous safety improvements and manage corporate EHS risk.
• Oversee EHS staff, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance worldwide.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply‑chain leaders in a highly regulated aerospace environment.
• Lead change management, culture transformation, and data‑driven performance management.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required while maintaining an onsite presence at the Buffalo location.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or related field; master’s preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, preferably aerospace.
• 5+ years in senior leadership with multi‑site or global responsibility.
• Deep knowledge of global EHS regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) required; CHMM preferred.
• Strategic mindset, executive presence, and strong business acumen.
• Willingness to live in or relocate to the Buffalo, NY area.
