Senior Director, Employee Experience & Culture

About the role

Rover is seeking a strategic and experienced HR leader to shape and scale its employee experience and culture strategy. Reporting to the VP of People & Culture, this senior director will own multiple global HR functions and act as a key advisor to the executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive enterprise‑wide people strategies that improve organizational effectiveness and business performance.
• Manage the Director of International HR, Director of Inclusion & Employee Experience, and global HR Business Partners.
• Partner with executives on workforce planning, organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and change management.
• Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations, investigations, performance issues, and employment law in collaboration with Legal.
• Lead programs that strengthen engagement, belonging, and workplace culture across all regions.
• Leverage employee feedback, workforce data, and technology to identify improvement opportunities.
• Champion modern, technology‑enabled People practices, including thoughtful adoption of AI tools.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience with a strategic mindset.
• Strong track record of influencing executives and driving large‑scale HR initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of employee relations, talent management, inclusion, and workplace experience.
• Ability to navigate complex employment law across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills with cross‑functional leaders.
