About the role

The Senior Director, Clinical Data Intelligence & Medical Monitoring Innovation leads digital, visual‑analytics and AI initiatives that modernise clinical data review and medical monitoring across all therapeutic areas. Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of Clinical Development Learning & CoE, the role bridges advanced technology with clinical practice to enable real‑time decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritise opportunities where visual analytics, automation and AI improve patient‑safety oversight, scientific quality and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Clinical Science leadership and study teams to translate process gaps and user needs into practical, compliant solutions.
• Drive implementation of modern visual‑analytics tools that support earlier identification of safety signals, efficacy trends and data‑quality issues.
• Collaborate with Data Management, Biostatistics, Digital, IT and AI teams to align technical roadmaps with Clinical Development realities.
• Lead change‑management activities, including training, communication and adoption tracking, to ensure sustained use of new capabilities.
• Provide strategic direction, line management and professional development for the Innovation Team.

Required profile

• Former Clinical Scientist with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in clinical trial design, data review and medical monitoring.
• Proven ability to translate scientific requirements into clear, measurable digital and AI‑enabled solutions.
