Senior Director, Capital Markets Services

About the role

Riveron is seeking a Senior Director to lead its Capital Markets Services practice, focusing on IPOs, de‑SPAC transactions and other complex capital market events. The role partners with CFOs, Controllers, CAOs and senior executives to guide companies through the full transaction lifecycle and the transition to a public company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end IPO, de‑SPAC and other capital‑markets engagements, from readiness assessments through execution and post‑transaction public‑company operations.
• Manage accounting and financial‑reporting workstreams for SEC filings (S‑1, S‑4, 10‑K, 10‑Q), PCAOB requirements, quarterization, carve‑outs, debt/equity offerings and related transactions.
• Coordinate with client management, underwriters, legal counsel and auditors to resolve issues, maintain momentum and ensure compliance with SEC and PCAOB regulations.
• Develop and mentor project teams, oversee engagement economics, and contribute to business‑development activities and practice growth.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, transaction advisory or related consulting, with a strong focus on capital‑markets transactions.
• CPA designation strongly preferred; advanced knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, Regulation S‑X, Article 11 pro‑forma requirements, and PCAOB standards.
• Proven client‑facing experience leading complex engagements for senior finance leaders and private‑equity sponsors.
• Ability to travel up to 30% and work onsite with clients as needed.
