Business Analyst – TBM Expense Transparency Consultant

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to lead Technology Business Management (TBM) expense transparency initiatives across multiple IT service towers. This hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) focuses on improving financial visibility, accountability, and alignment of IT investments with business value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead TBM expense transparency projects, ensuring consistent financial reporting, cost allocation, and modeling across IT service towers.
• Maintain and enhance TBM financial models, support service‑tower mapping, and analyze IT spending patterns and cost drivers.
• Collaborate with IT service owners, finance, procurement, and business stakeholders to validate inputs and translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Drive process improvement, establish governance frameworks, and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.

Required profile

• Strong background in IT financial management, cost transparency, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to work with finance, IT, and business teams and present financial information to non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, financial modeling, pivot tables, scenario analysis).
• Power BI for financial dashboards and data visualization.
• ServiceNow IT Financial Management, CMDB, Asset and Request Management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle Financials, or Workday Financial Management.
