Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Kudu Dynamics, a Leidos-owned company, is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in Chantilly. The role covers architecting and maintaining scalable infrastructure, improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, and leading container orchestration and infrastructure modernization. It suits someone able to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and maintain scalable infrastructure environments
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Lead container orchestration and infrastructure modernization efforts
• Troubleshoot complex production, networking and deployment issues
• Implement monitoring, alerting and observability best practices
• Drive infrastructure reliability, scalability and security improvements
• Support vulnerability remediation and system hardening
• Mentor junior DevOps and engineering team members
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment workflows and operational readiness
• Support onboarding, operational documentation and environment management

Required profile

• US citizenship with TS/SCI and Counter-Intelligence Polygraph clearance
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• Experience supporting high-availability and scalable environments and working in an Agile Scrum team
• Ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision
