Senior Corporate Events Manager
ExtraHop
Job description
About the role
ExtraHop, a real-time context platform for security and IT operations, is looking for a Senior Corporate Events Manager to own the events program that brings the company in front of its target accounts in financial services, public sector, healthcare, manufacturing, tech and energy. Success is measured by meetings with buying committees in target accounts and the pipeline they generate.
Key responsibilities
- Build and run the annual global events plan across North America, EMEA and APAC, aligned to target accounts and sales and ABM plans.
- Run flagship shows (e.g., RSAC, Fal.Con, Black Hat) and select vertical events, with goals such as target-account meetings, customer engagement, analyst and press time, or partner pipeline.
- Partner with Sales, SDRs and partners before events to set account targets and book meetings, and run follow-up within agreed SLAs.
- Work with Product Marketing and executive speakers on session content, briefings and demos.
- Co-plan events with channel, GSI and technology partners, including partner-funded programs.
- Own the events budget, reallocating spend toward formats that produce pipeline and cutting those that do not.
- Report on target-account attendance, meetings held, buying-committee contacts, pipeline sourced and cost per engaged account, and share results with marketing and sales leadership.
- Manage event agencies and vendors: contracts, booth design and build, production, venues, logistics and lead processing.
- Keep events data clean in Salesforce and Eloqua so attendance and engagement link to accounts and opportunities.
Required profile
- 7+ years running events for B2B technology companies, including at least 3 years owning a multi-event annual program and budget.
- Track record of executive events for senior buyers (CISOs, CIOs, VPs) with examples of pipeline or revenue produced.
- Experience in an ABM or named-account motion, working directly with sales teams on account targets and meetings.
- Experience with flagship enterprise security or IT shows and with international events.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Required skills
- Comfort with numbers: building budgets, measuring ROI by account and opportunity, and making cut-or-keep decisions from data.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and a marketing automation platform.
- Experience managing exhibit agencies, venues and production vendors on tight timelines.
- Ability to brief executives and sales teams and hold people accountable.
What we offer
- Salary of $110,000 - $123,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and stock option grants.
- Medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with employer match, flexible PTO, parental leave and hybrid and remote work options.
