About the role
The Senior Consultant will lead financial planning and analysis initiatives for utility clients, ensuring compliance with FERC standards while delivering strategic insights.
Key responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning processes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support strategic decision‑making.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Design scalable FP&A processes that improve data integrity and usability.
- Prepare executive‑ready dashboards, summaries, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with FERC accounting standards across all activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of FP&A or accounting experience, preferably in the utility sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in FERC accounting and utility financial operations.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
