Senior Consultant / Associate, Private Capital

About the role

Oliver Wyman's Private Equity team in North America is hiring consultants to support its rapid growth. The team works with private equity investors throughout the deal lifecycle, from opportunity identification through due diligence and post-transaction value realization. The role is open to experienced professionals already working in or interested in focusing on one or more industries serving private equity clients, including FinTech, Aerospace & Defense and Education. Practice groups include Financial Services, Consumer, Telco & Technology, Aerospace & Defense and Education, with locations in Boston, Washington DC, New York, Chicago and Dallas.

Required profile

• Professional experience with exposure to commercial due diligence in a management consulting firm
• Experience across or within industries within Private Equity
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program
• Fluent in English
• Ability to take initiative, solve problems creatively and work well in a team

Required skills

• Customer research techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups)
• Strategic problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication

What we offer

• Base salary range of $135,000 - $195,000, depending on experience, skills, location and education
