Senior Configuration Analyst – Federal Reserve Financial Services

About the role

The Federal Reserve Financial Services division is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to support its suite of payment and settlement products, including ACH, Check, and the FedNow instant payment service. This role is essential for configuring, testing, and maintaining business applications that process millions of transactions for thousands of financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, set up, and maintain business application systems that support Federal Reserve payment services.
• Perform testing, analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate processing and settlement of financial transactions.
• Obtain and authenticate financial institution documentation and conduct impact analyses for account creation, closure, or merging.
• Collaborate with financial institution accounting, business systems, and technical teams to assess configuration changes and ensure proper transaction processing.
• Provide advanced operational and technical support for complex application issues.

Required profile

• Several years of experience configuring and supporting large‑scale financial services applications.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, settlement accounting, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to analyze complex configurations, conduct impact assessments, and resolve technical problems.
• Excellent communication skills for consulting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to work onsite according to the schedule set by management.
