About the role
The Senior Analyst, Compensation provides strategic consulting and end‑to‑end analytical support for global compensation programs. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, Finance and leadership to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business strategy and maintain market competitiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate, price and level job roles, maintain enterprise Job Architecture and salary band structures.
- Support external benchmarking, participate in salary surveys and analyze market trends.
- Conduct internal equity analyses and advise on offers, promotions and retention packages.
- Administer incentive pay processes, manage eligibility, calculate payouts and ensure compliance with plan rules and state payday laws.
- Serve as primary contact for pay discrepancies, calculation inquiries and manual check requests.
- Play a core role in the annual compensation planning cycle, structuring and presenting complex datasets to leadership.
- Partner with Finance to model variable incentive metrics and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Drive process improvements, automation of compensation reporting and data‑analytics initiatives.
Required profile
- 4–6+ years of dedicated compensation experience covering base pay analysis and incentive/variable pay administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field; CCP designation is a plus.
- Strong project‑management capability in fast‑paced environments and a self‑starter mindset.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (complex formulas, modeling, pivot tables).
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Ability to synthesize large data sets into executive‑ready insights.
