Connections Minister

About the role

The Connections Minister leads the vision, planning and daily implementation of the Connections ministry at Pinelake’s Madison Campus, fostering a welcoming environment and guiding members through the discipleship pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a welcoming strategy for all attendees and recruit servant‑leaders to sustain ministry growth.
• Lead a team of servant‑leaders, manage the ministry budget, and use the ROCK church management system for communication.
• Partner with other ministry teams to recruit, follow up with prospective members, and support worship services and special events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and 3‑5 years of experience in connections, guest services, or next‑step ministry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with diverse groups and build strong relationships.
• Ability to conceptualize multiple tasks, meet deadlines under pressure, and demonstrate spiritual maturity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Mac/Windows operating systems, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Basic bookkeeping, budgeting and expense monitoring skills.
• Experience using a church management system (ROCK) for coordination and reporting.
