People Operations and Systems Analyst

About the role

The People Operations and Systems Analyst supports the People Operations function through HR systems administration, reporting, workforce data management, audit controls, transaction processing, and process automation. This role is 100% onsite in Madison, NJ or New York, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement automation opportunities, research AI agents, and recommend process improvements across People Services and HRIS.
• Monitor Oracle quarterly releases, assess business impacts, and serve as lead tester for People Services.
• Maintain foundational Oracle HCM configuration, manage contingent worker records, conduct regular position audits, and ensure data integrity.
• Participate in transaction processing, create ad‑hoc reports, and collaborate with People Operations, Payroll, Finance, and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, Payroll, or related field.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and handle confidential information with discretion.

Required skills

• Oracle HCM administration and configuration.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets reporting capabilities.
• Experience with AI, automation tools, audit controls, and data governance.
