Senior Community Manager – Paxson & Velo

About the role

The Senior Community Manager will oversee daily operations of multiple apartment communities, driving financial performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets, analyze financial statements, and meet revenue targets through rent setting and collections.
• Approve vendor invoices, control expenditures, and manage petty cash while ensuring proper insurance documentation.
• Oversee lease processes, including applications, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collections.
• Analyze market trends to create leasing and marketing strategies that achieve occupancy goals.
• Respond to resident inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards.
• Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate property staff in line with company values.
• Maintain owner relationships through regular updates, tours, and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and multitasking abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, capable of independent and team leadership.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Strong skills in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
