Community Manager for a Large Apartment Community

About the role

The Community Manager oversees daily operations of the Avana Matthews property, ensuring financial targets, resident satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, monitor financial performance, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Supervise leasing activities, rent collection, invoice approval, and vendor payments.
• Conduct regular property inspections, enforce lease terms, and handle resident complaints and evictions.
• Lead, hire, train, and evaluate property staff while maintaining high service standards.
• Maintain strong owner relationships through regular updates, tours, and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Strong skills in internet research, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
