Senior Communications Advisor

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking a Senior Communications Advisor to shape and execute communication strategies that support the Bank’s goals and high‑priority initiatives. This role serves as a subject‑matter expert, guiding stakeholders and ensuring clear, engaging messaging across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Advise senior leaders on communication strategy for high‑impact projects.
• Design, develop, and implement communication plans targeting Bank leadership and employees.
• Write, edit, and review communication deliverables across print, digital, and multimedia formats.
• Create measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of communication tools.
• Maintain up‑to‑date web content and other communication assets.
• Build collaborative relationships with Federal Reserve System colleagues.
• Solve complex communication challenges within a matrixed environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 + years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 7 + years.
• Proven expertise translating complex initiatives into clear communication campaigns.
• Experience counseling senior leadership as a strategic advisor.
• Strong project‑management background and data‑analytics experience for measuring impact.
• Experience working in a matrixed communications setting.

• Sitecore (or similar content‑management platform).
