Senior Commercial Contracts Manager

About the role

Bitdeer, a technology company for AI and Bitcoin mining infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Manager for its Legal & Compliance team in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on commercial contract operations—intake, execution discipline, recordkeeping and obligation tracking—across Bitdeer's North America construction, procurement and site development activity. It is an operational, process-discipline role, not an attorney position.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of intake for commercial contracts across North America (vendor and supplier agreements, purchase orders, NDAs, membership-program papers and routine amendments) and route each to the appropriate business and legal owner.
• Build and own a central, searchable repository of executed agreements, capturing contract type, counterparty, effective and expiry dates, value, signatory and status.
• Administer the signature and execution workflow, confirming authorized signatories and a complete, correctly executed signature page before work begins or payment is released, and escalate exceptions immediately.
• Maintain a tracking calendar for renewals and auto-renewals, notice-to-terminate deadlines, insurance certificate expirations and milestones, and surface them to deal owners with enough lead time.
• Own first-pass review and negotiation of standard agreements against Bitdeer's playbook and pre-approved fallback positions, escalating deviations to the assigned attorney.
• Evaluate and help implement a contract lifecycle management platform and maintain reporting on contract volume, cycle time and workload.
• Support the Legal & Compliance team on other contract operations matters as assigned.

Required profile

• 8+ years in contracts management, contract administration or legal operations.
• Demonstrated experience building or substantially improving a contract intake, tracking or repository process from a low-maturity starting point.
• Experience in a construction or EPC, energy, industrial procurement or hardware and technology environment with high-volume deal flow.
• Prior experience at a public company, with the recordkeeping and disclosure rigor that implies.
• Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction operations across the United States and Canada.
• A law degree is not required.

Required skills

• Fluent working knowledge of a contract lifecycle management or e-signature platform (DocuSign, Ironclad, ContractPodAi or equivalent), including evaluating and selecting tools.
• Strong process discipline, organizational rigor and judgment to work within a playbook and escalation framework.
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset and high self-motivation.
