Senior Cohort Program Manager

About the role

The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University seeks a Senior Cohort Program Manager to lead the state‑funded Pathmaker program, training recent high‑school graduates for entry‑level laboratory and quality‑assurance positions in Massachusetts.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for learners, providing administrative assistance, emergency support, and emotional guidance throughout the two‑year program.
• Recruit, interview, and select new participants; conduct orientation sessions and maintain accurate applicant records.
• Plan and execute cohort events, celebrations, and networking activities to build a supportive community.
• Track learner progress, collect and analyze program data, and report outcomes to the state funding agency.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in student services, program management, or workforce development.
• Experience working with diverse and first‑generation student populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a professional, empathetic approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with administrative systems and database management.
