Senior CNC Machinist

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a seasoned Senior CNC Machinist to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machine tools in a fast‑paced hybrid R&D/production environment. You will own the entire machining process from first‑article development through full production runs, ensuring precision, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Completely set up CNC machines, adjusting tooling, collets, work‑holding, and related components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup and operation issues for tooling, work‑holding, and auto‑loading CNC tools.
• Read and interpret drawings, programs, and documentation to plan machining sequences.
• Input programs, perform dry runs, and verify accuracy before production.
• Maintain job order accuracy and productivity throughout the run.
• Verify parts using precision measuring instruments such as comparators, indicators, calipers, and micrometers.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance and daily machine care.
• Train lower‑classification machinists on CNC setup, operation, and company procedures.
• Participate in problem‑solving, team building, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines, tools, and equipment.
• Journeyman‑level skill set with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.
• Ability to read technical drawings and CNC programs.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting and improving machining processes.
