Quality Director

About the role

HydroGraph is seeking a senior Quality Director to lead its quality management system at the new Austin headquarters. This strategic role will shape quality vision, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across all manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with business goals.
• Maintain and evolve the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, AS9100 and other relevant standards.
• Lead internal and external audits, manage findings, and oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Define quality metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor performance.
• Oversee quality assurance activities including process validation, risk assessments, and qualification protocols.
• Direct quality control operations, inspection criteria, and statistical process control (SPC) implementation.
• Manage supplier quality programs and vendor qualification.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 13485, 14001, AS9100) and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate quality principles into strategic planning.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams and large‑scale improvement projects.
