Senior Clinical Director, Clinical Research, Hematology

About the role

The Senior Clinical Director (Senior Principal Scientist) leads planning and execution of clinical research for oncology medicines in the Hematology therapeutic area, overseeing the full lifecycle from early development to post‑licensure studies.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate pre‑clinical and translational data to create early clinical development plans and IND applications.
• Design and oversee clinical trials, providing medical oversight for investigational and marketed hematology drugs.
• Analyze clinical findings to support safety, efficacy decisions, regulatory submissions and publications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including regulatory affairs, statistics, manufacturing and commercialization.
• Maintain scientific expertise, engage with key investigators and represent the company at scientific meetings.

Required profile

• MD or MD/PhD with at least 3 years clinical medicine experience and 3 years industry or academic drug development experience.
• Demonstrated success overseeing clinical studies, strong scientific scholarship and record of publications.
• Board‑eligible or certified in Oncology, Hematology or related discipline is preferred.

• Salary range $282,200 – $444,200 per year.
