About the role

Xcite Automotive is looking for a Senior Automotive Detailer to work at partner dealerships in Chantilly, Virginia. The role involves delivering high‑quality interior and exterior detailing, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring every vehicle meets strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced interior and exterior detailing, including washing, clay bar treatment, buffing, polishing, waxing, shampooing, and stain removal.
• Execute paint correction techniques such as compounding, polishing, and swirl removal.
• Conduct final quality control inspections to verify vehicles meet client standards.
• Safely move and stage vehicles across dealership lots.
• Train and support junior detailers on processes, efficiency, and quality expectations.
• Maintain proper use of chemicals, tools, and equipment while meeting daily production goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional automotive detailing experience.
• Strong experience with buffing, polishing, and paint correction.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles.
• High attention to detail, reliable transportation, and strong work ethic.
