Senior Auditor - IT Audit (FFMIA, FISCAM, RMF)

About the role

3 Squared Technology Group is hiring a Senior Auditor to lead audit initiatives covering external and internal audit requests, observations and walkthroughs. The role covers FFMIA and FISCAM activities, analysis of systems against OSD FIAR guidance, and coordination with financial statement audit resources and other process teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit initiatives including tracking external and internal audit requests, observations and walkthroughs
• Lead FFMIA and FISCAM activities such as evaluating access, security, configuration management, segregation of duties, contingency and business application controls
• Analyze systems for compliance with OSD FIAR guidance and document software requirements per FIAR methodology
• Monitor and obtain accurate, complete PBC requests from internal and external auditors
• Evaluate computer-based systems, review general and application controls in complex IT environments, and recommend actions to close audit findings
• Assist with implementation of SAF/FM initiatives (ICAM, CMDB/EI, SIEM, system security) and assertion packages for system changes
• Coordinate with financial statement audit resources and teams on contracting, supply chain/asset management and human resources
• Prepare and deliver reports and recommendations on financial systems issues

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years of audit, accounting or financial and management advisory experience
• Knowledge of OSD FIAR audit readiness requirements and strong RMF and FFMIA experience
• Knowledge of SOC 1 reports and CUEC
• System-oriented audit experience (FFMIA, FISCAM, USSGL, SFIS, FFMSR, FASAB, OMB Circular A-123, IT NFR) with two years' experience required
• NIST SP800-53, CNSSI 1253 and ICD 503 knowledge preferred (one year)
• Ability to work onsite as needed at government or contractor facilities
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance and hold DOD 8570, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification

Required skills

• Proficiency in GAAP, GAAS, federal regulations and standards
• Extensive practical knowledge of importing data into report software, spreadsheets, graphs and flowcharts
