Senior Analyst, Regulatory Affairs

About the role

Covista, a healthcare education provider, is hiring a Senior Regulatory Affairs Analyst on a full-time, remote basis. The role interprets statutes, regulations and administrative rules of various issuing bodies and develops procedures and processes to ensure compliance, while acting as a liaison to operations, campuses and regulatory entities on regulatory changes.

Key responsibilities

• Work with colleagues across institutions and functions so that student funding processes, reporting, materials and communications comply with federal, state and internal standards
• Review and approve marketing, catalog and website material
• Represent the organization in professional organizations and government entities, and give regulatory guidance in institutional meetings
• Run controls in high-risk areas and help resolve audit findings
• Develop, implement and maintain written compliance policies and procedures, and train colleagues and external partners on them
• Prepare presentations for senior management, mentor a new colleague, and assist the Regulatory Affairs Manager

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred
• 3+ years of experience in higher education financial aid; 3+ years in higher education regulatory compliance preferred
• Writing samples required
• Ability to travel 10%
