Senior Analyst, Installation & Readiness

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Installation & Readiness creates and maintains clear, accurate and field-friendly Reset & Installation Guides (RIGs) so that merchandising and operational projects across Home Depot stores are executed consistently, safely and efficiently. The role partners with cross-functional teams to turn project requirements into standardized instructions, and reports directly to the Senior Manager of Merchandising Services Projects.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate upcoming projects to ensure readiness, covering instructions, products and materials on hand, and MET/3PL training (about 65% of the role)
• Partner with MET and issue resolution teams to drive execution and resolve issues in a timely manner (about 25%)
• Report on execution metrics and share best practices to improve planning, readiness and resolution processes (about 10%)

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Preferred: extensive knowledge of merchandising resets at The Home Depot
• Preferred: experience creating, editing or maintaining operational procedures, work instructions or field-facing documentation
• Preferred: experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Preferred: strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
• Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel
• Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent; minimum 2 years of work experience

Travel is typically required 5% to 20% of the time, mostly overnight. The work is done indoors, mostly sitting, with occasional need to move or lift light items.
