Senior Analyst - Finance Business Partner Technology

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Analyst to act as a Finance Business Partner for its Technology organization. The role supports the Operations, Network, and Employee Digital Experience divisions, linking financial planning with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial consolidations and planning support for technology finance.
• Lead or support standardisation initiatives across technology finance functions.
• Prepare divisional financial reports, identify risks and opportunities, and advise on achieving financial targets.
• Analyse P&L variances during month‑end close against budgets, forecasts and prior year results.
• Deliver monthly expense forecasts for assigned divisions and present results to senior leadership.
• Maintain staffing plans, discuss hiring timing, affordability and capacity with business partners.
• Assist in negotiations and renewals for third‑party services and technology solutions.
• Contribute to special projects, ad‑hoc reporting and analysis with a strong customer‑service focus.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in finance, FP&A or related analytical roles within a technology environment.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders including Finance, People & Capability, and Sourcing.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to senior management.
