Senior Analyst, Asset Protection

About the role

The Home Depot is looking for a Senior Analyst Asset Protection. The role identifies, distinguishes and analyzes multiple components of a problem and provides conclusions using high-level quantitative skills. It typically reports to an Asset Protection Manager, works cross-functionally with business partners and leads a work group by assigning and reviewing work and training team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead teams on projects and communicate effectively with teams and other leaders
• Query, review and understand malicious shrink, returns and sales/financial data
• Identify trends in the business and the retail industry and understand key store operational processes
• Gather data and run analytics, develop solutions, plan projects and strategies and use data
• Produce documents for teams and leadership, deliver presentations to executives and sponsors, and synthesize findings into recommendations for upper management
• Build knowledge through self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job
• 3 years of work experience preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service orientation with demonstrated leadership attributes

Required skills

• Project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Analytics: ability to manipulate data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
• Google BigQuery knowledge preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
