Senior Aircraft Technician – Mechanical

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an experienced Senior Aircraft Technician (Mechanical) to join its Maintenance & Repair team in Grand Prairie, Texas. You will work within a small, skilled crew responsible for the inspection, assembly, repair and functional testing of helicopter components and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed operational checks on complete aircraft systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions across a range of systems, including fire protection, fuel, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor, power plant and engine controls.
• Execute repair, replacement, and refurbishment tasks on aircraft components according to Airbus standards.
• Document work performed and verify compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mechanical aircraft maintenance, preferably with helicopters.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and maintenance documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills within a fast‑paced environment.
