Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant joins the Integrated Systems Accounting team to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and to act as a proactive business partner driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Perform month‑end close activities, including accruals, variance and account analyses.
• Execute monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Identify and communicate financial or reporting issues with recommended solutions.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and standardization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of accounting experience; public accounting or audit preferred.
• CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
