Indirect Tax Accountant

About the role

Bosch is seeking an Indirect Tax Accountant with a continuous‑improvement mindset and strong communication skills. The role focuses on US and Canadian indirect tax compliance, tax technology initiatives, and governance across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Complete timely indirect tax compliance and reporting for US state and local sales, use, gross receipts, property taxes, Canadian GST, VAT, and other taxes.
• Lead nexus determination, registrations, renewals, and manage tax payments, notices, and correspondence.
• Process Form W‑9, annual Form 1099 reporting, and manage sales‑tax exemption certificates.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives to standardize and automate indirect tax functions.
• Support tax technology implementations, audits, and provide technical research and analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years corporate experience with US indirect tax compliance, audit and research.
• 2+ years using indirect tax systems (Vertex), ERP (SAP), and advanced Excel functions.
• 1+ year experience with data‑analytics, desktop automation, data‑visualisation, and AI tools.
• Strong analytical, project‑management and communication skills.
