Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our fast‑growing software firm that serves the oil and gas industry. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and Accounting, you will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial operations while working in a flexible remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and perform account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax, and payroll processing.
• Assist with financial and SOC audits.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support cash management, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Interest in learning about the energy sector and our software solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel expertise.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
