Security Shift Supervisor - Unarmed Day Shift

About the role

Allied Universal Services is looking for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor in Nazareth, PA. The supervisor coordinates the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned customer and acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, the Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and the security officers. The position is unarmed day shift, full time, at $18 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security staff on the assigned shift, giving coaching, recognition and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Manage security personnel by assigning tasks, delegating duties and monitoring performance.
• Hold daily briefings with the team and respond to security incidents, notifying authorities and clients as needed.
• Monitor security systems and CCTV and carry out regular patrols to spot potential breaches.
• Make sure post orders are followed and rounds are completed.
• File required reports and keep daily records of security-related incidents.
• Interview, hire and train security staff, covering workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures and other safety and security topics.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience, documented or referenced.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record (no major violations in the last 36 months, no more than one accident in the last 24 months).
• Effective written and oral communication, ability to write neat reports and logs, and ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly.
• Background investigation and pre-employment drug/alcohol test required; licensing may be required under state and local law.

Required skills

• Familiarity with access control systems and badge management.
• Basic computer or tablet skills, including company-specific software assessed during onboarding.
• Customer service experience.
